Painted in oils on quality stretched canvas - please see examples of my paintings below
With current commitments, the smaller ‘Tonal Portraits’ are the only commissions I am able to take at the moment -
please see ‘How to commission a painting’ at the bottom of this page
How to commission a painting:
Enquiry: Please contact me with the photograph or photographs you are interested in having painted and I will create a mock up for you, to show how your painting will look. I also confirm the canvas size options, price and timescales. You can make as many amendments as you would like to the mock up to make sure the painting will be exactly as you wish, before deciding if you would like to go ahead and commission a painting.
Payment: If you would like to proceed, I confirm everything by email and ask for 50% deposit when I start the painting, and for the balance to be paid only once the painting is finished to your total satisfaction (I send photographs or a video for approval). For ‘Gift Vouchers’, payment is required in full, again the painting is only finished when it is to your recipient’s total satisfaction.
Completion: I use quality canvas stretched over a solid pine frame, with fixings attached and I continue the painting around the edges of the canvas, so it is delivered to you ready to hang straight on the wall. I also take timelapse videos while I paint which I collate into one video that I send to you, so you can see your painting grow from a blank canvas to a completed artwork.
Timescales: Timescales are usually 6 to 8 weeks for delivering a finished painting. Please do contact me if you have any questions or ideas, I would love to paint for you!
